This is my custom funko pop of Mary Stuart ( played by Adelaide Kane) from the TV Show Reign.
Reign was an American TV series broadcast on The CW cable television network from October 17, 2013 to June 16, 2017.
Focused on the youth of Mary Stuart, it is set in France in 1557. The protagonists are played by Australian, Canadian and English actors, while most of the filming takes place between Canada and Ireland [1] [2].
On 8 December 2016 the US channel announces the cancellation of the series: the fourth season will therefore be the last. [3]
The series is about the young Maria Stuarda and her companions, the engagement between Mary and Francesco is formalized to strengthen the political / military alliance between France and Scotland. But the game is not over. The problems are confused between politics, religion and affairs of the heart. Prince Francis is attracted to the determined and charismatic Mary, but like most young people, he is reluctant to settle in marriage, especially having an emotional relationship with a court lady already in progress. And his view on the importance and usefulness of an alliance with Scotland changes. Still, a bond between Mary and Francesco ignites.
Further complicating matters is the presence of Bash, Francesco's young and charming half-brother. Despite his illegitimate birth, Bash is his father's favorite, King Henry II. Although he is all too aware of the fact that Francis is the heir to the throne and promised spouse of Mary, Bash soon develops feelings for the latter. None of the court intrigues go unnoticed by Queen Caterina de 'Medici, Francesco's mother. As a guide in this maze of intrigues, the queen turns to her trusted advisor, the seer Nostradamus. The latter terrifies her with a prophecy that marriage to Mary will lead to death. Catherine is determined to save her son, at any cost. Amid court intrigues and sabotage attempts, Mary has the support of her most trusted friends, as well as court ladies: Greer, Kenna, Lola and Aylee. Ready to rule the new kingdom and balance the needs of her country with those of her heart, Mary prepares to fight her enemies at court.
